Make Room - Day 11

Scripture: 1 Timothy 2:1–4

EXAMINE
Paul urges “that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be
made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions…” Kingdom-
minded people pray for those in authority—spiritual, civic, and relational—so
that we may live peaceful and godly lives and so that more people come to
the knowledge of the truth.

APPLY
Make a list of leaders in your life: pastors, small group leaders, city and county
officials, school leaders, employers, and community partners. Instead of only
critiquing or complaining, lift them up. Pray for wisdom, integrity, protection from temptation, and sensitivity to God’s will.

PRAY
Pray by name for at least five leaders today. Ask God to strengthen and
surround them, to correct where needed, and to use them to create space for
the gospel to flourish in our region.
